Your portrait is made to last. A few notes on getting the most from it.

Hanging your portrait

Your portrait arrives fully framed and ready to hang. All frames include hanging hardware on the reverse. For the best result:

  • Hang away from direct sunlight - prolonged UV exposure will fade any print over time, regardless of materials
  • Avoid hanging directly above a heat source such as a radiator
  • A slight angle, tilted 1–2 degrees forward at the top, is the traditional gallery hang and prevents light reflection on the glass

Cleaning the glass

Use a soft, dry microfibre cloth to remove dust. For fingerprints, slightly dampen the cloth - never spray liquid directly onto the glass. Avoid abrasive cloths or cleaning products.

The right wall

The 12 × 16 inch Signature is the most versatile size - it works equally well as a standalone piece or as part of a larger gallery wall arrangement.

The 16 × 24 inch Statement and 30 × 40 inch Exhibit are designed as anchor pieces - give them space. A single large format portrait on a clean wall with breathing room around it is more powerful than one surrounded by other pieces.

Storing your portrait

If you need to store your portrait, keep it upright rather than flat. Laying a framed piece flat for extended periods can cause the hanging hardware to put pressure on the frame corners. Store in a dry environment away from temperature extremes.
